A number of rooms boast elegant, King-size four-poster beds, whilst the majority are furnished with equally dramatic half-tester canopied beds. however, you will be glad to know that the hotel have dispensed with Victorian horse-hair mattresses in favour of luxurious sprung mattresses. Curtains and bed hangings are natural linen whilst the headboards and valances are hand-embroidered; the beds are dressed with cotton sheets, large, square feather pillows and traditional pure woollen blankets.
Every room has an antique desk or writing table with conveniently placed power and telecommunication sockets; most rooms also have a seperate table enabling you to enjoy room service without disturbing your work.
The bathrooms have traditional Victorian-style fittings combined with a lavish use of warm limestone, whilst behind the scenes there is excellent modern plumbing with pressuried hot and cold water. With every room also having air conditioned, you will enjoy the peace and quiet - comfort - of The Cranley Hotel.
